We’ve had a chat with Lucy, our internal sales team leader.
When did you start working here?
I started working here in December 2021.
What does a day at work look like to you?
It varies from day to day, but generally I will check my emails, answer any calls from our customers and send out reminders to our existing customers.
Most days I am contacting existing customers with warranty renewals and any helpdesk jobs that are referred through to our sales team. I also deal with any day-to-day enquiries that come in from new and existing customers over the phone or via email.
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Fun, supportive and rewarding.
What did you do before working here?
I worked in the care industry as a sales ledger. I have also worked as a manager at an interior shop, hence why I love interior design so much. I was also a seamstress for a little bit after I left university.
What is your favourite thing about working here?
The people that I work with. Everyone is so different, but we are like a big crazy family.
How do you wind down after work?
The gym! Or when I’m not feeling it, I get comfy and put on whatever TV show I’m currently watching.
Do you have a favourite film? If so, what is it and why?
My all-time favourite film is La La Land. I can watch it time and time again and never get bored of it. Who doesn’t love a good musical? I have also stayed in the hotel in LA from the film!
Finally, what is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure has got to be reality TV shows. Kardashians, TOWIE, Made in Chelsea. I can’t get enough of ’em.
