Founded in the UK in 1996 by Tom Osborne, our Managing Director and the owner still today, Osborne Technologies originally started as a retailer of custom-made personal computers and now designs, develops and distributes award-winning technology solutions around the world.
A Brief History
We have progressed year on year from a small computer firm in the 90s, into the global technology solution provider that we are today. We are proud to say we are still grounded in our roots, with our headquarters staying in South Yorkshire throughout our 25 year history. The first-ever EntrySign system is installed at a local primary school in the UK.
BETT, HERE WE COME!
Full speed ahead, we go to the Bett Show in the UK (Europe’s leading ‘ed tech’ event) to springboard EntrySign in education.
ALWAYS DEVELOPING
A new Product Development Manager is appointed to solely focus on expanding and developing EntrySign.
GOING DOWN UNDER
A technology company signs up as our first partner to sell EntrySign in Australia.
FIRST AUSSIE SIGN-IN
The first EntrySign visitor sign-in system is supplied in Australia.
ACROSS THE POND
Osborne Technologies Inc. is set up in New York to launch EntrySign in the USA and Canada.
A TRIP TO ISE
EntrySign is shown at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Amsterdam.
SOLE PARTNER OF SIMS
EntrySign is selected as the sole school visitor management and staff sign-in solution to be promoted by ESS SIMS in the UK.
WHAT A DECADE!
Celebrations take place at the head office to mark a decade of EntrySign and the many milestones along the way.
