We caught up with Dave Whitwham, EntrySign Product Specialist.

When did you start working here?

I started as an IT Support Technician in February 2014.

What three words would you use to describe your role?

Enjoyable, unpredictable and rewarding.

What does a day at work look like to you?

It depends on the appointments. Since COVID a lot more is done online. For example, a recent day was remote demos at 8.45, 10:00, 11.30am and 2.30pm. Other days can be a single appointment with a fair bit of travelling involved. I enjoy both! It’s nice to get out and meet people and show what EntrySign has to offer, but if people are wanting remote meetings, they can be equally as good.

What’s your favourite thing about EntrySign visitor management?

It’s flexibility! I like people to use as many features as possible and get the very most out of it. It’s an incredibly powerful and configurable system, and will really help in so many environments.

How do you wind down after work?

I enjoy a lot of sports, – cycling and snooker in particular. Football is also a passion, but I can’t run as fast as I used to! I can’t deny I also like a cheeky drink after work (later in the evening of course), especially with a few games of snooker to play. Once a year I also get involved with the local Panto, but that isn’t too relaxing to be honest, but a great laugh. It certainly was when some of my colleagues came to watch one year. ?

Finally, what is your guilty pleasure?

I always seem to have a beer or glass of wine close by in the winter to pass those long nights. In the summer, to sit in the garden and chill out, maybe I have a problem with the weather? ? I can’t resist a Chinese takeaway as well.
